Religion: The Separation of People

franklin-d-roosevelt-president-if-civilization-is-to-survive-we-mustReligion:  a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs

Religion.  One of the acts that separate us.  The world is full of religions that govern groups of people, but the bible clearly states that there is only one God, one Faith and one Baptism, but if you walk into a Catholic church, attend their Mass and then walk into a Baptist church and attend their service, there is a big difference.  I’m only using the two religions above as an example, not implying that either one is wrong.  My point today is why does it govern our thoughts and actions towards one another?

That is the soul purpose of religion.  No pun intended. But the only reason a religion was ever created was to separate us from them. So first, don’t get belief and religion confused. Religion is a group of people with the same beliefs who get together to talk about everybody else. You know they got to figure out how to get everybody else on their side or otherwise they have to find a way to deal with them

The main reason a religion became so needed was as time went by and people began to spread out and meet other people they soon found out they don’t have all the same rules as we do. So people found new ways and some were happy. They thought this is great, but others didn’t like the change, so they had to come up with a new plan. And one of the best new rules of any new religion would be to demonize those other guys. Not only should you not do those things that they do, you should stay away from them and you probably should even HATE them. In fact, hate them so much that we should just go over there and wipe them out

As everybody in the whole world knows there is only one true religion. That is to say only one true belief.  Others may have good intentions, but good or not, wrong is wrong because religions were created so someone or some group of people could control another group of people or in their minds control everybody

The best way to bring people together is to give them something or someone to hate. And I think one’s religion was one of the first things used to separate people with hate. Race and nationality came later. So if you want to bring a group of people together, give them something or someone to hate.  Us against them works every time. Even a community organizer for example could use hate to bring people together. They could put hatred between say, oh I don’t know, maybe, the ones who have versus the ones who have not……

Thank you for reading.  We encourage you today to seek that which is good and live a blessed life through Jesus Christ.  God Bless You today!
