Taking Time to Learn About God

driving_1357133cEvery day our lives takes us to places and through circumstances to occupy our minds, but how many of us take time even through all of the day’s hustles to learn about God?

There is so much we can learn from God and He wants to teach us, but many of us and I am guilty as well, don’t set aside a time to commune with God

So, how do we do this?  It’s relatively easy if we want to meet God every day and sit in His classroom to learn of Him, but for those of us who find it difficult to set aside a time to meet with Him, here are just a few suggestions:

1. For those of us who rise up early for work – may I suggest you get up 30 minutes earlier and meet with God through reading His word and communing with Him in prayer

2. For those of us who take care of home – may I suggest while doing laundry, dishes and preparing dinner, to download an audio bible and listen to it throughout the day

3. For those of us who feel we don’t have time to pray during the day – may I suggest that while you are driving in your car to listen to an audio sermon or bible and every time you come to a red light, take that time to pray to the Lord

These are just a few suggestions that we can incorporate into our daily schedules to meet God and begin learning of Him

There’s always local churches who have weekday bible studies.  Get involved in your church and please remember this, as James stated; ‘Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you’ James 4:8

Please don’t text and drive and if you must use your phone, please invest in a blue-tooth or hands-free device!

Thank you for reading.  We encourage you today to seek that which is good and live a blessed life through Jesus Christ.  God Bless You today!
