Like you, I myself have become disappointed with God because I felt as though He did not come to my rescue, but today I want to enlighten you that our timing is not always God’s timing
The Israelites were in bondage for 400 years. They waited and waited, prayed and prayed for God to deliver them. They wanted instant relief, but it did not manifest itself until 400 years
Like them, we want instant results. Not tomorrow, not next year, but today, this moment
What we sometimes fail to understand that all things, whether great or small, are orchestrated by God’s timing
God stated to Isaiah in chapter 55, verses 8 and 9: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”
Everything under the sun has a time and a purpose (Ecclesiastes chapter 3). Our lives are governed by God’s timing. Our duty is to trust Him for our lives and respect His timing
Too many of us expect God to be our hit-man, our errand boy and even our genie in the bottle, but God is none of those and must be respected and feared as being the sovereign God that He is
