Letting Go of God….

jeopardyMatthew 14:29-30

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.  But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me

Just like Peter, as believers we sometimes take our eyes off Jesus and find ourselves sinking back into sin.  So why do we let go? What persuades us to stop trusting in the Lord and forget all that He has done for us?  The only answer that I can come up with is ‘US

When we pray for something and our prayers are not answered either fast enough or not the way we had hoped, we begin to allow negative thoughts to reside in our mind and heart.  Our ways is not God’s ways, nor His thoughts our thoughts.  We must learn to trust God’s decision concerning our lives

We should not be persuaded by anything on this earth or beyond to let go of God and His Word.  Our very souls are in jeopardy when we turn our back on God.  Let that not be said of you or I

Trust God and Don’t Let Go!
