Stop Running…

Many Christians don’t understand the authority (power) they have over Satan.

Jesus has given us the necessary tools to conquer anything that Satan throws at us or places in our path, but instead of using those tools, we run or coward away

Moses told the Israelites standing between Pharaoh and his army and the Red Sea, to “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord“.  Too many times, our carnal man becomes afraid of the enemy, but it’s the inner man which receives the strength and power to stand up against any evil presented to us

How do we strengthen the inner man?

  • Fasting unto God (Crucifies the carnal mindset and nourishes the spiritual man)
  • Constant Prayer (means of “plugging into” God’s power, it is our means of defeating Satan and his army that we are powerless to overcome by ourselves)
  • Meditation of God’s Word (our sword and shield)

Just as Jesus being led by the spirit into the wilderness to fast and equip Himself with the word of God, was able to stand and conquer Satan when he tried to tempt Him.  Jesus was prepared for this challenge and we as Christians must daily prepare ourselves in this same way

So, stop running and equip yourself today with the tools Jesus has given you…it’s time for Satan to run…
