Does Jesus Hit a Nerve When He Talks About Your Money???

ceo%20lose%20200

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.  But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 19:21

Just like the young man who inquired how he could inherit eternal life, many of us ask the same question, but as this young man, the answer was not what he wanted to hear

We ask, we attempt, but does Jesus hit a nerve when He asks us to give to the poor or maybe put more than a dollar in church on Sunday?

Our worldly possessions might be the downfall of us losing out on eternal life because they mean so much to us

Jesus stated also in Matthew chapter 6 verse 21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also

Everything we obtain in this life is a gift from God.  Not to be used as a stumbling block or viewed as an idol in our lives

God is a jealous God and will not settle for being 2nd to last in your life

Does He hit a nerve when He talks to you about your money or material things?

This is the question only you can answer
